Nature is an endless source of inspiration. Like a best friend, it’s always there for us, welcoming us exactly as we are.
These images are odes to nature.
Hiking Shoes Are Made of Dreams

Like many others, I have also become hooked on hiking. Especially in mountainous nature. The waters, the forests and the snow-capped giants fascinate me. But we don’t even need grand landscapes to hike. We can do it anywhere where there is a piece of nature and peace.
This print was originally created to be a postage stamp, yet its destiny has been to appear on bigger things such as totes and wall prints. Like a real hiking boot, it works in many sizes and platforms, bringing the outdoors with it where ever it goes.

The Largest Lakes of Switzerland

The lakes in Switzerland are beyond beautiful. I wanted to make a print about them, and after exploring their shapes, the idea of this camouflage-like form of the largest lakes of Switzerland was born.
I drew each coastline as accurately as possible. Despite the details, the pattern looks simple after shrinking the lakes and placing them in an order that works visually. The lakes are in a correct relation to each other so you get to compare their sizes.
The Coloured Cone

I was walking in the local forest and saw two beautiful spruce cones like a mother and a child. I took a photo of them and at home I digitally coloured the cone scales on top of the photo. When I took off the photo layer, with only the colours I had drawn on top, the image looked neater and brighter. That was the beginning of this colourful cone!
The Chanterelle Shelter

I’ve always been mesmerized by the fairytales of tiny people such as Little Thumbling, Thumbelina etc..
I also love to pick and eat the beautiful Chanterelle mushrooms. This image brings two of these wonderful things together.
Sneadling

Sneaker + seedling = sneadling.
This shoe image was inspired by the photo I saw online in which a plant was growing from a boot and also by the light feeling in the spring, when you’re wearing sneakers after the winter.

Whimsical Flowers

The more mature I get, the more I love flowers! Maybe it’s encoded in us.
This particular flower print is blooming as a result of trying to draw flowers with one line, without lifting the pen in between. Somehow they ended up looking pretty relaxed and cheerful together.
Letās create something cool together!
